I didn't get a good before picture of this room before it was emptied, but it was stuffed full of furniture (there was a second desk) and there were even more boxes and stacks of paper than you see in the final images. But basically, the carpet was removed to be replaced by hardwood, the wallpaper was removed, and everything was painted and rearranged.
