2007-05-11: Varsity vs. Armstrong
For the first time since the early 1990s, the Henrico Warriors (11-6; 7-3) have clinched a playoff spot in the Capital District tournament. Friday evenings 15-2 victory over Armstrong (2-13; 0-10) assured that Henrico would finish among the districts top four when regular season play ends next week.
After taking some teases and complaints regarding the score when Henrico played Armstrong earlier in the season, five regular Warrior starters sat the bench to allow others to experience some well-deserved playing time. They took advantage of the opportunity.
